Philadelphia-Based Content | Philadelphia Family

It’s always a treat when you can write about your home city – and all the things you love about it. I did just that for a feature on best dates in the Philadelphia area and beyond for Philadelphia Family magazine.

Digital Media Work | FlockU.com

These published works were for the digital media startup FlockU.com, a platform intended for a primarily millennial/college audience. Many of these clips offer a fresh take on current events, entertainment news, or college-related news. Please keep in mind the demographic for these clips in terms of language, slang usage, and content. (There are no links, as the site is no longer live.)

Below are several series I conceptualized and brought to fruition while at FlockU: Hunny of the Week and the Weekly Entertainment Recap.

Magazine Publications | South Jersey Magazine

These features were published in South Jersey Magazine, a regional publication that focused on lifestyle, business, politics, celebrities, and local news events. At South Jersey Magazine, I wrote many front page feature stories, as well as several regular features for each issue, including front-of-book mainstays such as Southern Exposure and Good Buy.

Magazine Publications | Haute Living Magazine

At Haute Living Magazine, not only was I overseeing the production of four national luxury lifestyle magazines, I was also interviewing and writing cover stories on celebrities like Kevin Costner, John Varvatos, Kelly Wearstler, and Melania Trump, delving into their everyday routines, the thought behind their work, and the everyday nuances that make up their lives.

Magazine Publications | NYO Magazine

While at the New York Observer, I was tapped to take on a special project: NYO Magazine. It was envisioned as a monthly supplement to the iconic pink newspaper’s already robust presence in the New York City media scene—and it delivered.

The publication featured notables such as Benjamin Millepied, Dylan Lauren, Candace Bushnell, and John Slattery, the latter of whom I had the pleasure of interviewing for the cover feature for the downtown issue. I spent the day meandering through downtown Manhattan with Slattery, attempting to figure out just what makes this Mad Man tick. The publications are available in their entirety below.
